Athletic Director/Boys Director/Coach
Jeff Rollo
Coach Jeff Rollo brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to Texas Truth Homeschool Athletics, with over 400 wins in the past 8 seasons, including 307 varsity victories.
His most recent achievements as the Athletic Director and Head Boys & Girls Basketball Coach for the Aggieland Panthers highlight his exceptional leadership, with his teams securing two NCHBC National Championships and an NCHBC Silver Ball Championship.
Before his tenure at Aggieland, Coach Rollo served as the boys basketball coach for the ETX Archers, where he led the team to a notable THSSBC State Runner-up finish. He also made significant contributions as the Head Girls Coach at Lovelady ISD. There, he guided his teams to three UIL Regional Quarterfinals, reflecting his talent for building strong, competitive programs.
Coach Rollo exemplifies what Texas Truth Homeschool Athletics is all about, demonstrating a deep passion for Christ and a dedication to mentoring athletes both on and off the court. His extensive experience and focus on athletic development make him a cornerstone of our organization’s commitment to excellence.

Girls Coach
Jason Jenkins
Coach Jason Jenkins (pictured on the right with legendary Baylor University Head Men’s Basketball Coach, Scott Drew on the left) is a passionate and dedicated basketball coach hailing from Peoria, Illinois.
A former Division I basketball player at Valparaiso University, Jenkins played under legendary coach Homer Drew, a pivotal experience that helped shape his deep understanding of the game.
After his playing career, Jenkins took a brief break from basketball and later transitioned into coaching, where his leadership and knowledge was put on display.
In the 2023-2024 season, Jenkins led the Covenant Christian girls’ basketball team to a state championship, marking a significant achievement in his coaching career. His commitment to the development and discipleship of student-athletes and his enthusiasm for growing girls’ basketball make him the perfect addition to the Truth coaching staff.

Girls Director/Coach
Candace Virgadamo
Coach Candace is a Conroe, Texas native with 12 years of coaching experience from Conroe High School, Texas A&M University, and multiple club basketball organizations. She was homeschooled through the 9th grade and helped lead the SATCH Mavericks to an NCHBC National Championship in 2005.
She attended Conroe High from 2006-2009 where she helped lead the Tigerettes to 3 straight playoff appearances, 2 district titles, and a Regional Tournament appearance. She was named to multiple First Team All-District, All-County, All-State and All-academic teams in each of her 3 seasons.
Out of high school, Candace signed with Panola College, where she competed in both basketball and volleyball. She served as the starting point guard in both her seasons there and as team captain of the basketball team for the 2010-2011 season. She earned Academic All-Region and was a conference leader in both points and assists.
From Panola, Candace signed with The University of Arkansas at Monticello where she competed for both the basketball and cheerleading teams. She served as the starting point guard and team captain from 2011-2013. She was named Team MVP, GAC All-Academic Team, Division II Athletic Director’s Association Academic Award List, and the Capital One Women’s Basketball National Academic All-District Team. She also helped lead the UAM Cheer team to a 2nd place finish at the Ltd. Cheer Nationals at CANAM. Candace graduated from UAM with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Candace has a passion for sharing her love for the Lord and the Gospel of Christ through basketball. She is excited for the opportunity to mentor the next generation of basketball players and Christ-followers with Texas Truth while giving back to the homeschool community that helped mold and shape who she is today.
